A 37 year old woman of Vandrai village, Tailevu, drowned while diving for seaweed in the Naselai waters at around 4.30 yesterday afternoon.
The woman was diving with some other villagers when she went missing.
A search was conducted and her body was located a few metres away.
The drowning toll is now 26 compared to 18 during the same period last year.
