A 22-year-old woman charged with two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder has been remanded in custody by the Lautoka Magistrates court.
Priya Darshani appeared before Magistrate Peni Dalituicama in a special court seating this morning.
Plea has been deferred and the case has been adjourned to the 24th of next month.
The matter has also been transferred to the High court.
It is alleged the woman killed a 33-year-old woman and her seven-month-old baby.
Three children including 5-year-old twins and a three-year-old girl are still admitted in Lautoka hospital following the incident.
According to Police the three are in a critical condition.
The incident is alleged to have occurred as a result of a dispute between the 33-year-old woman and another woman.
The 33-year-old deceased and the 22-year-old suspect were both staying in the same house with a 31-year-old man.
The 33-year-old woman was his wife while the 22-year-old is his defacto partner.
