A 33-year-old woman and her 7-month-old baby are dead following a domestic dispute.
The incident is alleged to have occurred as a result of a dispute between the 33-year-old woman and another woman at a settlement outside Viseisei, Lautoka.
Police received a report from health authorities that a woman and her child were brought to the hospital and were pronounced dead on arrival.
The incident is alleged to have occurred sometime between 10am to 12pm yesterday.
Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro said a 22 year-old-woman has been taken in for questioning.
The 33-year-old deceased and the 22-year-old suspect were both staying in the same house with a 31-year-old man.
The 33-year-old woman was his wife while the 22-year-old is his defacto partner.
