Police are investigating an incident whereby a 22 year old woman was found lying on the road unconscious, in Sikituru Nadi, on Tuesday afternoon.
The Assistant Police PRO Corporal Josaia Weicavu said the woman was taken to Nadi hospital where she is under observation.
Corporal Weicavu said it is believed the woman consumed some poisonous substance and police are trying to ascertain whether she was forced to drink the substance or not.
