Police have arrested and charged a 19 year old woman of Nabua with arson after she deliberately set fire to the flat she was staying in with her defacto husband.
The 25 year old husband owns the house, which consists of four flats. The two had a heated argument on the day, when the husband left the house and reported the matter to police.
On his way back he noticed the house on fire and informed the National Fire Authority. They managed to save the bottom flat but the top flat that they occupied was completely destroyed.
The woman will appear in court later today.
