Four men are expected to be charged later today for allegedly gang raping a 23 year old woman.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Ramesh Chand has confirmed this morning that they have had to release some of suspects at this stage as they question others in relation to the incident.
However, Chand said charges are expected to laid today and the men are expected to appear in court tomorrow.
The woman was on her way home after returning from a nightclub when the four youths came in a car, allegedly grabbed the woman and took her to a vacant house in Nausori. The four then allegedly gangraped her.
They kept the victim with them until mid-day Sunday and the matter was reported to police only yesterday afternoon.
