Mothers day has turned into a nightmare for a family in Lower Ragg Avenue, Namadi Height after a woman was allegedly murdered inside her home early this morning.
Crime Scene Investigators were yet to arrive at the scene to gather evidence when Fijivillage news visited the crime scene this morning. Officers guarding the premises could only confirm that the woman's body was found lying in a pool of blood.
Speaking to Fijivillage news Police Media Liaison Office Atu Sokomuri confirms that a suspect has been taken into custody this morning and is now being questioned at the Samabula police station.
Other details of the incident are still sketchy as Crime Scene investigators are yet to enter the scene.
