Police are investigating a case where a 23 year old woman of Nabekavu, Labasa allegedly assaulted her mother in law who is admitted at the Labasa Hospital.
According to police, the fight broke between the two on Thursday night, and the elderly woman was allegedly punched by her daughter-in-law. The woman in her 50's was unconscious when she was taken to the hospital by her neighbours.
Police are awaiting the elderly woman to recover before laying any charges against the young woman.
