While many may see the win in Hong Kong as the sign that our Fiji 7s team can do without 7s wizard Waisale Serevi, a former Manager thinks otherwise.
Speaking to Fijivillage Sports, former 7s Manager, Epeli Lagiloa who worked very closely with Serevi said that it would be wrong to say that his era has come to an end.
Lagiloa adds that the boys rose to the occasion as the result of the work done by Serevi.
Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7s team will have their first run together this morning in Adelaide, and the tournament kicks off at 7pm on Friday.
Fiji first pool game is against Scotland at 8:28pm.
