Crusaders center, Sonny Bill Williams said he's considering boxing as a long-term career.

Williams added that his opponent, Alipate Liava'a in this weekend's charity fight for Canterbury is well matched.

The 25 year old All Black rookie said boxing is here to stay, though the Rugby World Cup's still the priority for now.

Sonny Bill Williams said he's not looking to finalise his next move until after the Super 15 finishes.

Meanwhile, Crusaders are on a bye this week.

At 7.35pm tomorrow, the Highlanders will play Western Force in Dunedin.
