Netball Fiji coach Vilimaina Davu is not taking Singapore lightly in their opening pool game of the World Netball Championships.
Although the Singapore side is not in the top 20 of the world netball ranking, Davu maintains that it is important for Fiji to get their campaign off on a high note in their first game.
Davu added that they will treat every game as a final as they want to qualify as the pool winner from their group.
Good news also for the side as former Fiji coach Yvonne Willering will be with the team in the WNC as a technical adviser.
Willering is not new to the team, as most of the players were part of the team that won the gold medal in the 2003 South Pacific Games.
Fiji opens their 2007 WNC pool game against Singapore at 3.10 tomorrow afternoon.
