Former Netball Fiji coach Yvonne Willering and Julie Hornweg will assist the national team ahead of the World Netball Championship in July in Singapore.

President, Wainikiti Bogidrau has confirmed that Willering will be in the country in the next two weeks to assist Gabriel Qoro for the Pacific Series in May.

Willering guided the Silver Ferns in 2009 and has worked with some of the current netball reps when she was with the Fiji team.

Hornweg who guided the side to the 6th spot in the 1999 World Championship will arrive later and will work closely with the girls before they will leave for the WNC.

Meanwhile, MAI TV Fiji Limited has secured the rights to air live the 2011 World Netball Championship in Singapore.

The coverage will see all 34 matches covered with all Fiji and Samoa matches live for free.

While only two Oceania countries will represented the region at the event, stations in Tonga, Samoa, Cook Island and PNG are likely to also show the World Netball meet.

Fiji is in Pool B with defending champion New Zealand, Wales and Trindad and Tobago.
