Will of God not the Hand of God - Maradona
Maradona has also told Germany player, Bastian Schweinsteiger that criticism of his team will backfire on Germany when the two countries meet in tomorrow mornings quarterfinal.
A figure of fun prior to the start of the tournament, Maradona has instead made a mockery of concerns over his coaching style by leading Argentina to four successive wins, scoring ten goals in the process, and setting up a quarterfinal clash with the Germans.
Maradona said he spoke to his father who is not in the best of health and he said that if Argentina reaches the final then he will come here to see the Argentineans' win.
According to Maradona his father told him to do what he did in 1986.
Looking at the FIFA World Cup quarter finals coming up tomorrow morning, Argentina take on Germany at 2am and Spain play Paraguay at 6.30am.
The first semi-final of the FIFA World Cup has been confirmed which will be between Netherlands and Uruguay.
This is after Netherlands beat Brazil by 2-1 and Uruguay defeated Ghana by 4-2 in the two quarter finals this morning.
