Nausori police are now questioning the wife of 40 year old Shalesh Prakash whose body was found in Sawani-Serea road on Sunday morning.

Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Arthur White confirms the wife was taken in for questioning yesterday afternoon and is still being interrogated in relation to the alleged murder.

According to ASP White, they are following some strong leads and more people are also expected to be taken in for questioning soon.

Prakash's company vehicle which was missing after the incident was found abandoned in Nakasi yesterday.

Prakash had visible wounds on his head and other parts of his body.

In a separate incident, police have questioned and released a woman in relation to the death of a Korean businessman in Walu Bay yesterday morning.

She was taken in soon after the incident and was released this morning. The deceased was last seen with the woman who is a co-worker. He was later found dead with visible head and facial injuries.

The post mortem of both the bodies are expected to be conducted soon.
