Police are questioning a 31 year old wife of the German national found dead in his home earlier on this week in Sigatoka.
Divisional Crime Officer Western SP Vijay Singh has confirmed that the woman was discharged from hospital later yesterday and police are questioning her.
According to Singh, a minivan driver's statement has also been recorded and he has been released.
He is believed to be the prime witness.
Post mortem report of the deceased revealed that he died of a fractured skull.
The woman stabbed herself five times with a kitchen knife after the discovery of the partially decomposed body of her husband.
