A 36 year old security officer of UNDP was given a bound over sentence for 12 months and fined $100 for assaulting his defacto wife.
Peni Bale of Namadi Heights pleaded guilty in court for punching Kini Sainimere last month after a heated argument erupted between them.
The court heard that Sainimere had accused Bale for having an affair with another woman when she was not at their home, and claimed that she had been told of this by neighbours.
Bale was also warned not to reoffend by Magistrate Amani Rokotuinaviti in court today.
