Many rugby fans are wondering who will be the next star that will emerge in this week's 38th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Some players that are expected to shine include Westfield Babas pair of Asaeli Vula and Vilimoni Morawa, Red Rock's Waisake Raselala and Eroni Sau and Levani Tani of Ratu Filise.

Another player to look out for this weekend is Esava Qoro of Nawaka.

The 23 year old forward is the son of former Flying Fijians player Manasa Qoro.

Esava stood out for the Nawaka side in last week's Martintar 7s in Nadi.

Esava said he aims to don the national jumper this year just like his dad.

Nawaka is in the pool of death with Wardens Green, Benito Masilevu's Lomaiviti Babas and Uluinakau One.

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will kick off this Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
