Brumbies head coach Jake White has quit his post and will walk away from the side with two years on his deal.
White apparently sought a release from his contract and reports in the Australian press have suggested that the Brumbies have agreed to release the former Springbok coach.
The 50-year-old is currently on holiday in South Africa and is expected to meet Brumbies captain Ben Mowen in Cape Town ahead of the Wallabies clash against the Springboks to discuss his reasons for leaving.
In the two years under White, the Brumbies went from 13th in the 2011 Super Rugby season to finishing as runners up this year.
He was named Australian Super Rugby coach of the year last month.
Meanwhile, the Springboks will take on the Wallabies at 3am this Sunday while Argentina will play the All Blacks at 10.40am.
