"Where were the human rights champions when I was ousted and when racist policies were being introduced by the Soqosoqo Duavata Ni Lewenivanua (SDL)."

That is the question raised by Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry in relation to people opposing the work of the interim government and the National Council for Building a Better Fiji.

Chaudhry who was ousted in 1987 and 2000 said those people who are now fighting for human rights did not utter a word when his government was overthrown.
