Addressing 32 journalists from around the world on a Social Media Tour at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, San Francisco Founder and Engineering Head Google News Krishna Bharat said their mission is to organise the world's information and make this universally accessible, even bringing information which is not easily accessible to the internet and thus to the public.
Bharat said the search engine gives people different perspectives and knowing what other's believe matters.
The Google News founder said Google sends 100,000 clicks to news publishers every minute, 144 million a day and 4 million a month, an indicator of how much people use the world re-known search engine.
