The current wet weather will continue into tomorrow with people experiencing heavy rain at times which is likely to cause flash flooding in the low lying areas.

Acting Meteorology Director Alipate Waqaicelua said an active trough of low pressure is moving slowly across Fiji causing rain and strong winds.

He said people should expect more rain tonight.

He is calling on people living in low lying areas to keep an eye on the streams and rivers during heavy rain and contact their district officer or DISMAC officials if there is a need to move to higher grounds.
