Western teams dominate BOG
Nadi will face Labasa in the first semifinal at 3pm while host Lautoka will face neighbors Ba at 5pm today.

Meanwhile the results of day 3, Rewa thrashed Nadroga 11-0, Nadi beat Navua 2-0, Labasa defeated Ba 1-0 while home side Lautoka drew with Suva 2-all.

Lautoka sends Suva home
Lautoka soccer team sent Suva packing and gave a life line to neighbours Nadi after the hosts held the Capital City side 2-2 in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament at Churchill Park.
Lautoka opened the account in the 6th minute through Valerio Nawatu but Waisake Navunigasau headed in the equaliser for the Whites in the 18th minute.
Suva came back strongly after the breather and Issa Sani scored in the 69th minute but Lautoka made sure they do not lose in front of their home fans as Zibraaz Sahib levelled terms to make way for Nadi and send Suva home.
Labasa tops pool 1 to meet Nadi, the runners-up of pool 2 at 3pm while Lautoka after heading pool 2 will clash with Ba, the runners-up for pool 1 at 5pm.

Labasa shocks Ba, tops pool 1
Labasa soccer team came back strongly after disappointing news of losing 3 points from Rewa’s complain, shocked Ba with a 1-0 win in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament.
The Northerners and the Men in Black both have 6 points but the Reds have better goal difference to top the pool.
Taione Kerevanua scored the winner for the Babasiga Lions in the 42nd minute of the second half from the Maciu Dunadamu cross.
The game underway, the clash of the two cities, Lautoka and Suva is locked at 1-1.
Valerio Nawatu opened the account in the 5th minute for the Blues but Waisake Navunigasau headed in the equaliser for the Whites in the 18th minute.
Suva has to win this match to qualify for the semifinals and if Suva loses or draws this match then Nadi will qualify with Lautoka from this particular pool.

Labasa loses 3 points
Three points were taken away from the Labasa soccer team in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament.
The Rewa soccer team complained against the Northerners for breaching the contract between the 2 parties over Posiano Kalisito.
The Delta Tigers have a lifeline now as Labasa and Rewa, both have 3 points but Rewa has a better goal difference after they thumped Nadroga 11-0 and if Labasa lose to Ba then the defending champions will qualify for the semifinals.
The Babasiga Lions just need to draw this match against Ba to qualify from pool 1 with Men in Black.
The match after this will see the crucial encounter between Lautoka and Suva.
The protest by Nadi against Lautoka was disallowed which means that the hosts remain on top with 6 points from pool 2 and the Capital City side will need to beat the Blues to qualify while a lose or a draw will see Nadi advance in semifinals.
