The Education Ministry is calling on parents, teachers and school heads of the Western Division to make sure their athletes and students attending the Coca Cola Games all return after the event.
This is because all schools in the West will continue with classes during the first week of the scheduled school holidays.
Permanent Secretary Dr. Brij Lal said that by Sunday all students from the West should return as the Fiji Finals will end on Saturday night.
More than 6,000 students were affected during the recent floods in the Western Division according to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Education and Save the Children.
Dr Lal said 3,148 students have already been assisted with school kits which include basic items.
3,000 more kits will be distributed.
