As the weather clears up for most parts of the Fiji group, the Nadi Weather Office said the Western Division that has experienced a difficult period of a dry spell should still continue to get periods of rain especially in the late afternoons.

The Duty forecaster said the current weather pattern will be experienced till at least by Wednesday for the Fiji group.

A weakening trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the eastern part of the group, with the forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group, cloudy with some showers and possible thunderstorms about the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands including Lau and Lomaiviti group, clearing today with just few showers about the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands tomorrow.
