The Western Division secondary school Under 18 rugby final between Natabua High and Ba Provincial Freebrid Institute could not be played yesterday afternoon, as Ba Provincial filed a protest.

Match Commissioner Sailosi Sorovaki said Ba Pro filed the protest on the grounds that Natabua was going to field a player that had already played in the Under 17 grade.

Sorovaki said if Ba Provincial wins the protest then they will play Lautoka Central College in the Under 18 final.

Meanwhile, looking at the other results in the Western Zone finals, in the Under 14 grade Natabua beat Saint Thomas 27-7, and again in the U15 grade 31-19, for the U16 grade Ratu Navula Secondary School beat Ba Provincial Freebrid Institute 22-10 while in the under 17 grade Ratu Navula beat Ba Provincial 21-3.

For the under 14, 15 and 17 grades, the finalist teams of these grades are through to the secondary schools rugby quarterfinals while for the U16 grade, only Ratu Navula has qualified.
