New Zealand based Niko Ratumaitavuki put up on a sterling performance at the Flying Fijians trial this afternoon.

The West team won the match 27-14 over the East team.

However, Ratumaitavuki orchestrated play well for the East team at the first five and again at the second five position.

Other players who put up a good performance were Leone Nakarawa, Watisoni Votu, Nikola Matawalu and Alusio Buto.

The poor ground condition at Bukhurst Park affected the performance of the players at today’s trial match.

The Flying Fijians team to play in the Pacific Nations Cup and the Scotland test next month is expected to be named this Friday.
