Vodafone Fiji Bati captain Wes Naiqama has missed out on a spot in the 19 member team named for the Four Nations qualifier against Samoa this weekend.

Coach Rick Stone confirmed that Naiqama is unavailable along with Akuila Uate, Apisai Koroisau, Sisa Waqa and Tariq Sims.

Stone has retained 13 of his players that reached the Rugby League World Cup semifinal.

Other players that have forced their way into the team include Waqa Blake and Regan Campbell Gillard from the Penrith Panthers, Taqele Naiyaravaro of the Wests Tigers while veteran Lote Tuqiri makes his return after last representing Fiji at the Rugby League World Cup in 2000.

Fiji will take on Samoa at 9.40pm this Saturday in a one off test match, where the winner will book a spot in the upcoming Four Nations Cup which features New Zealand, Australia and England.
