The Fiji Police Force is now trying to establish whether the two former senior officers who are facing charges of allegedly trying to remove Commodore Esala Teleni from his position as the Commissioner had the support of other officers.
Police Spokesperson, Ema Mua told Fijivillage this morning that the matter is still being investigated to determine whether the two former senior officers charged allegedly incited other personnel or officers to carry out the act.
Mua said the outcome of the investigation will determine whether more charges will be laid.
The two were charged last night and will appear in court today.
A special taskforce led by SSP Waisea Tabakau is investigating the allegation.
