Wellington a second home for 7s team - Cakau
Fiji has been crowned champions three times in Wellington.
Fiji won the first tournament in 2000, then in 2006 and the last one was in 2010.
Defending champion New Zealand has been dominant on their home ground lifting the cup five times.
Fiji Sevens team captain Setefano Cakau said Wellington is like a second home to them and even the new players in the team will not have any problems in adjusting to the electrifying atmosphere.
Fiji will play Argentina at 12.44pm this Friday in its first match of the New Zealand Sevens.
At 3.40pm, Fiji will take on Tonga and in its last pool match, Fiji will play Wales at 8.12pm.
The Cup quarterfinals will start at 1.33pm Saturday with the Cup semifinals starting at 5.35pm.
The Cup final will be played at 8.30pm.
