The Wellington 7s atmosphere will be a shock to any player who will be making their first appearance in the New Zealand tournament.
Fiji 7s coach Josateki Savou said that while 8 out of the 12 players in the team will be travelling to Wellington for the first time this year, it will not affect their plans.
Savou said that the challenge now is on the players to stay focused in Wellington.
Today at 3pm, the Fiji 7s team will take on the Army side in a practice match at the Post Fiji Stadium where the coaching staff will test out several combinations before they leave on Sunday.
Fiji's opening pool game next Friday is at 1.28pm against Wales.
