Weightlifting “Golden Boy” Manueli Tulo will be in Darwin this weekend to prove that he is still in contention for the Pacific Games in Noumea.

Tulo is part of a strong Fiji team that also consists of Joe Vueti and Maria Liku.

The Games is in conjunction with the Oceania and South Pacific Weightlifting Championships, the first event ever held in Darwin.

Tulo, who is currently training at the Oceania Weightlifting Institute in New Caledonia, will join the team in Darwin.

The week long Arafura Games kicks off on Saturday.
