Sensational Junior Fiji weightlifter, Manueli Tulo has reset the Oceania Junior record book by breaking the Clean and Jerk record with his attempt at 136kg.

He then came out on his third attempt with a successful world standard lift of 140Kg.

The previous record was 134kg which he set last May in Suva during the Oceania Championships.

Tulo presently ranks first in the Oceania and South Pacific Senior rankings in the 56kg category and also first in the Oceania and South Pacific Junior rankings.

Tulo will be competing next month in Penang, Malaysia at the Commonwealth Junior Championships and IWF Continental Clubs Grand Prix, which is an Olympic qualification event for individual athletes for the 2012 Olympics.
