The prestigious William Web Ellis trophy will be in the country for the first time tomorrow and will be taken around to a number of villages and other venues in Lautoka and Nadi on Friday and Saturday.

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive Officer Manasa Baravilala said there will be a march through Nadi town on Saturday and everyone will be able to catch a glimpse of the trophy that is fought for every four years in the Rugby World Cup.

The FRU has also confirmed the trophy will have a tour of Lautoka City on Friday which includes the Special School, Lautoka Hospital, Natabua High School and Namoli village.

The World Cup will also visit villages in Nadi like Vatutu, Sikituru, Yavusania, Navoci, Nawaka and Narewa.

We will be with the World Cup in Lautoka and Nadi from this Friday so do look out for our vehicle.       

Meanwhile, the Federation of Oceania Rugby Unions AGM will also be held this Friday and Saturday in Nadi.

Baravilala said it is a privilege to host the FORU AGM, the same year Fiji rugby will celebrate its 100th anniversary.
