It was a day to remember for the people of Lautoka and Nadi as the prestigious Web Ellis trophy was taken to a number of areas.
People came out in numbers on the streets in Lautoka this morning and followed the cup to Churchill Park.
Then the people of Namoli village got the chance to see the trophy after which the Natabua High school band welcomed the trophy at the school ground.
The students also performed the traditional welcome ceremony, Cere.
Namaka Public School students also hosted the trophy for a while.
Meanwhile, there will be a march through Nadi town tomorrow and everyone will be able to catch a glimpse of the 15s World Cup trophy.
The World Cup will visit villages in Nadi like Vatutu, Sikituru, Yavusania, Navoci, Nawaka and Narewa tomorrow.
