The Weather Office said it is fully prepared for the cyclone season which begins next month.
Director Rajendra Prasad said they have some staffing issues and lack some equipment however this will not deter their operations in monitoring Tropical cyclones forming in the region.
Meanwhile, the Weather Office has predicted that an average of three cyclones could form near Fiji waters between November this year and April next year.
