The Nadi Weather office has predicted close to six more Tropical cyclones to form near the Fiji group in the next five months which may pose a direct threat to the group.
Director Rajendra Prasad said it’s hard to predict whether any tropical cyclones will form before the end of this year as the cyclone forms between 24 to 36 hours.
He said people should always be prepared.
Prasad has assured the public that they have the equipment to give correct readings of the cyclone.
