The weather has not been friendly to the Flying Fijians as they prepare for their second Test match in the Europe Tour against Wales on Saturday.

As was the situation in France, it is 4 to 9 degrees Celsius also in Wales, with a forecast like last weekend and it could be raining again at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

Fiji failed to control their game against France in the slippery conditions, something they hope will not happen with Wales who also played in the same conditions in their 29-25 loss to South Africa.

Manager Talemo Waqa said the players are slowly getting used to the weather in Wales, and since most of the players in the team are playing in Europe, it has only made preparations a lot easier for Saturday.

Meanwhile, Wales’s rugby winger Shane Williams will be out of action for at least 10 weeks after dislocating his left shoulder.

Williams is now doubtful for the start of Wales's Six Nations Championship campaign in February, and has no chance of playing in the remaining Tests against the Flying Fijians and the All Blacks this month.

He suffered the injury in last weekend's 29-25 loss to South Africa and will undergo surgery this week to assess the full extent of the dislocation.

The Fiji and Wales game kicks off on Saturday at 8.30am.
