Brace yourselves for monsoon like weather conditions as the Nadi Weather Office predicts very wet weather conditions from this Thursday for the Fiji group.
Nadi Weather Office Director Rajendra Prasad said a low pressure system lying close to the group is predicted to bring in monsoonal weather conditions for the whole of the group.
Prasad also confirmed that a weather system located close to Vanuatu is expected to form into a tropical depression as it nears Fiji later this week and will bring strong winds for most parts of the country.
Prasad stressed that there is always a possibility that the system could develop into a cyclone however it should not directly affect the Fiji group.
