The Fiji Cancer Society is calling on people in the country to wear something yellow this Friday and Saturday to celebrate "WORLD DAFFODIL DAY."

DAFFODIL is the International Symbol of hope for all people recovering from Cancer as it reminds people that there is life after a diagnosis of cancer.

The Secretary of Fiji Cancer Society, Janice Ali said many cancer patients survive cancer through proper and timely diagnosis and this Friday is a day set aside for these people.

To mark Daffodil day, a party has been organised for cancer survivors on Friday in Suva while young people will be walking around the streets of Suva collecting donations from people wearing yellow shirts and aprons.
