There will be no backing down.
Government spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni said they have already set out the roadmap to democracy and no outside influence should come and dictate to government what to do.
This follows the ultimatum given by the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group that Fiji will be fully suspended from the Commonwealth by September 1st if Fiji does not come up with a plan to have elections by October next year.
Lieutenant Colonel Leweni said the government will not be moved at all by the directives and they will continue to work on the changes that need to be made in Fiji.
