“We will need to lift our performance”
These were the words of Labasa soccer team midfielder Ilisoni Logaivau as they will take on Ba in their final pool match of the Vodafone Fiji Fact this afternoon.
Logaivau was in top form yesterday scoring a goal as Labasa beat Nadroga 1 - nil to record their second win in the tournament.
Logaivau said they are looking forward to the game against Ba but there are still room of improvement.
Meanwhile, pool A is still wide open as Ba and Nadroga both have three points each while Labasa lead the group with six points.
Labasa just needs a draw to qualify while Ba will have to beat Labasa to qualify for the semifinals as well.
Labasa will take on Ba at 5.30pm.
Rewa and Nadroga at 1.30pm followed Nadi and Suva at 3.30pm.
Lautoka and Navua is currently playing and both teams are locked at 1-all.
