Australian 7s team coach Gerraint John believes he has selected a team that can go all the way to win the Gold Coast 7s title this weekend.
John has named a star studded side which sees the return of Pama Fou, Tom Cussack, Cameron Clark, Con Foley, Lewis Holland, Ed Jenkins and Tom Lucas.
Despite facing the Vodafone Fiji 7s side in the pool stages John is confident with the backing of their home crowd, his players will be able to deliver.
Meanwhile, Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has predicted a tough showdown but they will take each game as it comes.
Speaking from Gold Coast to Legend FM sports Ryan says the home side will be one of the favorites this weekend.
Fiji will take on Scotland in their first match at 2.02pm Saturday. We will then face Portugal at 5.23pm before taking on Australia at 9.01pm Saturday.
The quarter finals will be at 12.48pm Sunday, the semi-finals will kick off at 4.53pm while the final will be held at 7.49pm.
