Delasau said young new blood in the team is good because they have the country at heart and put their bodies on the line for success.
Delasau who is likely to be co-captain with Semisi Naevo said he is ready to take on the responsibilities.
Meanwhile, team trainer Nacanieli Cawanibuka said the players named last night by the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) are fit.
The 12 members include in the Forwards, Apolosi Satala, Napolioni Nalaga, Semisi Naevo, Pio Tuwai and Seramaia Burotu.
The Backs include, Jone Daunivucu, Peni Rokodiva, Vereniki Goneva, Filimoni Delasau, Sireli Bobo, Neumi Nanuku and Watisoni Votu.
The Non-Travelling Reserves are, Apisai Naiyabo, Waisale Suka, Orisi Sareki, Filimoni Bolavucu.
The Digicel Fiji 7s team will again train today at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
They leave for Dubai on Friday.
Fiji's opening pool match next Friday morning is at 4:16 against Georgia. Then on Friday evening at 8:50pm, they take on USA in their second pool match before facing France in the final pool encounter on Saturday morning at 2:20am.
