“We need to believe in ourselves”
These were the words of Vodafone Flying Fijians lock Leone Nakarawa as they are hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in the Pacific Nations Cup this weekend.
The 26-year-old from Mokoisa, Tavuki in Kadavu was one of the outstanding players for Fiji in their win over Tonga last week and is expected to retain his spot in the starting lineup.
Nakarawa said Samoa will provide the challenge in the forwards but they have to play as a team to contain them.
The former Tavua College student debuted for Fiji against Tonga in 2009 and he currently plays for Glasgow Warriors in the Pro 12 competition in Europe.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians will take on Samoa at 3pm this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary of this match on our sister station Viti FM.
