Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee believes that it is important for the players to win the physical battle if they are to beat France in their opening autumn test tomorrow.
McKee said this will enable them to play to their strength and the players should be prepared to do all the hard work in attack and in defense.
Fiji has never beaten France in eight attempts and they are hoping that they will beat the host and create history.
Meanwhile, McKee has named a powerful line up with the back row of Masi Matadigo, Akapusi Qera and Dominiko Waqaniburotu expected to lead the physical battle upfront.
With the group of death awaiting Fiji at the World Cup next year, this could be a chance for them to lay down a marker.
Fiji will take on France at 5.45am tomorrow.
