"We have to play our best game to match the Junior All Blacks in this afternoon's Pacific Nations Cup encounter".
Those were the words of Flying Fijians coach Ilivasi Tabua with less than 4 hours remaining for the showdown at Churchill Park.
Tabua said in training this week, they have worked on various areas of the game they believe will be the platform to hand the Junior All Blacks their first ever taste of defeat in the PNC.
For the visitors, under the watchful eyes of Chiefs coach Ian Foster and Hurricanes mentor Colin Cooper, they are well aware of what to expect from the Fijians.
Cooper believes the winner of this afternoon's game will be the favourite to win this year's PNC title.
The Flying Fijians and Junior All Blacks match will kick off at 3.10pm and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM.
Meanwhile in other PNC results Samoa is leading Japan by 29 points to 15, with 25 minutes to play in the second half.
