Fintel has come a long way since 1976 and has played a major role in the development and shaping of the telecommunications industry in Fiji.
Speaking at the launch of Fintel's new image and brand last night, Fintel chairman and Governor of Reserve Bank Savenaca Narube said their role is to provide a gateway to the world.
Narube highlighted the importance of the Southern Cross submarine cable.
Meanwhile, the new Logo reflects inter-connectivity with the rest of the world that Fintel offers.
