These are the words of the Chairman of the Land Transport Authority Padam Lala while launching the 2008 Breathalyzer Operations yesterday saying motorists are continuing to drink and drive even after massive awareness campaigns.
Lala said with the festive season here, many people will be attending parties, and he has praised the effort taken by police to ensure there is an accident free Christmas.
Lala said people should stand up to drunk drivers.
In 2006 sixteen people were victims to drunk driving, while in 2007 ten people lost their lives to drunk related accidents.
