Water trucks will be on standby to cater for the areas affected by the 3 week water rationing in Nadi and Lautoka.
This is the reassurance given by principal information officer Iliesa Sokia to parents and teachers, as the times for the water shutdown is during school hours from 9am to 2pm for the next three weeks.
Some of the areas affected in Nadi are: the Nadi back road, Mulomulo, Togamasi, Meqania, Taci and Solovi.
Looking at Lautoka: Kashmir, Waiyavi, Banaras, Vomo Street and Tavakubu Road, Field 40 and Rifle Range, Simla and Saru back road.
Sokia added members of the public can contact their Western office if they need assistance.
The planned water shut down in Lautoka and Nadi will continue for the next three weeks as the PWD carries out major upgrade works.
