As school starts tomorrow the Water Supply Department said they will have water trucks on standby to cater for the areas affected by the 3 week water rationing in Nadi and Lautoka.
Some of the areas affected in Nadi is the Nadi backroad, Mulomulo, Togamasi, Magunia, Taci and Solovi. In Lautoka, Kashmir, Waiyavi, Banaras, Vomo Street and Tavakubu Road, Field 40 and Rifle Range, Simila and Saru backroad.
That is the reassurance from the Principal Information Officer Iliesa Sokia to parents and school management as the times for the water shutdown is during school hours from 9am to 2pm for the next three weeks.
Sokia added members of the public can contact their western office if they need assistance.
The times water will be cut is from 9am to 2pm after which water will be restored once again until midnight and then back on at 3am the next morning.
